Our espadín mezcals are crafted in small, uncompromising batches using maguey sustainably torn from Oaxaca's rugged soil by local farmers we respect enough to pay what they're worth. Behind Scorpion stands Douglas French, a battle-hardened Maestro Mezcalero with three decades of experience commanding the craft, alongside Maestras Mezcaleras Elsa Arguelles Sanchez and Erika Aquino Aguilar, two women who learned under French how to master end-to-end mezcal production. At the bottom of every bottle a real scorpion lurks, reminding you this is no ordinary drink.
